Our Company
A1 Security Services was founded in 1988 by Lance Powell who is
still the Proprietor today. We initially concentrated on domestic
intruder alarms but a growing reputation for quality and an
increasing number of referrals led to us taking on larger commercial
projects. Door access systems were added to our range of services
when we started working for various Local Authorities. Our range of
products and services has expanded naturally due to demand and now
includes CCTV, safes and external security systems.
A significant step forward was made in 1998 when we designed a Lone
Worker Protection system designed specifically for sales staff in
show homes. The system was taken up by one of Britain's largest
house builders and is now used by builders all over the country.
